April 11, 2023: Catonsville, MD 21228 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league match between the Chase Trojans (Forest City, NC) and the host Mount de Sales Academy Sailors (Catonsville, MD), saw Chase's softball squad nip Mount de Sales Academy by a count of 8-5.
The Trojans now sport a 7-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Canfield for a non-league match on Tuesday, April 11. Chase will face a Cardinals squad coming off a 12-2 non-league win over Paul VI (Chantilly, VA). The Cardinals record now stands at 8-0.
With the loss, Mount de Sales Academy falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Sailors travel to John Carroll (Bel Air, MD) to face the Patriots in a IAAM match on Wednesday, April 12. The Patriots enter the match with a record of 3-1. John Carroll lost 8-3 in their recent non-league match against Arundel (Gambrills, MD)
