The Central Valley Hawks baseball team (Ceres, CA), was overwhelmed 7-0 in Thursday's league outing with the visiting El Capitan Gauchos (Merced, CA)

The Gauchos now hold a 10-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Merced for a Central California Conference outing on Tuesday, April 16. El Capitan will confront a Bears team coming off a 11-5 non-league loss to Hughson (Hughson, CA). The Bears record now stands at 11-8.

Next, the Hawks confront the Patterson Tigers (Patterson, CA) in a Central California Conference outing, on Tuesday, April 16. Central Valley will attempt to advance on its 10-11 season record. The Tigers go into the outing with a 10-5 record after their 8-2 league loss to Merced (Merced, CA).
