North Carolina High School Softball - West Stanly bounces Hickory Ridge
April 11, 2024: Oakboro, NC 28129 West Stanly Colts (Oakboro, NC) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Hickory Ridge Ragin' Bulls (Harrisburg, NC), 7-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Colts now own a 6-1 record. They take the field next when they host Marvin Ridge for a non-league challenge on Monday, April 15. West Stanly will battle a Mavericks squad coming off a 1-0 non-league win over Weddington (Matthews, NC). The Mavericks record now stands at 6-1.
With the loss, Hickory Ridge falls to 2-6 on the campaign. The Ragin' bulls travel to South Iredell (Statesville, NC) to battle the Vikings in a non-league challenge on Friday, April 12. The Vikings enter the challenge with a record of 1-4. South Iredell lost 7-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Mooresville (Mooresville, NC)
