Maryland High School Softball - Decatur gets by Sussex Central
April 11, 2024: Berlin, MD 21811 The Decatur Seahawks (Berlin, MD) softball nipped the visiting Sussex Central Golden Knights (Georgetown, DE), 6-5 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Seahawks (1-1) will now prepare for their bout against Snow Hill (Snow Hill, MD). The Eagles go into the Bayside - South bout with a 1-7 record. In their last bout, Snow Hill was edged by Wicomico (Salisbury, MD), 7-3, in a league bout.
The Golden Knights now possess a 5-1 record. They play next when they travel to Newark Charter School for a non-league bout on Saturday, April 13. Sussex Central will confront a Patriots squad coming off a 6-5 non-league loss to Odessa (Townsend, DE). The Patriots record now stands at 1-3.
