The South Mecklenburg Sabres routed the host Palisades Pumas softball squad by a final score of 11-3 in Thursday's league battle.

The Sabres (9-4) will now prepare for their battle against Porter Ridge (Indian Trail, NC). The Pirates go into the non-league battle with a 11-1 record.

The Pumas now possess a 4-8 record. They play next when they host Olympic for a So Meck 4A battle on Tuesday, April 16. Palisades will meet a Trojans squad coming off a 19-0 league loss to South Mecklenburg (Charlotte, NC). The Trojans record now stands at 2-8.
