Missouri High School Baseball - Smithville nips Branson
April 11, 2025: Smithville, MO 64089 The Smithville Warriors baseball team scored 7 runs and held the visiting Branson Pirates to 6 in the Warriors non-league win on Friday.
The Warriors now own a 11-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Logan-Rogersville for a non-league test on Saturday, April 12. Smithville will clash with a Wildcats team coming off a 8-3 league win over Clever (Clever, MO). The Wildcats record now stands at 9-2.
With the defeat, Branson drops to 4-5 on the year. The Pirates travel to Marshfield (Marshfield, MO) to clash with the Bluejays in a Class 5 District 6 test on Saturday, April 12. The Bluejays go into the test with a record of 10-4. Marshfield won 14-2 in their recent league test against Springfield Catholic (Springfield, MO)
