The Velva/Drake/Anamoose Aggies baseball team scored 10 runs and held the host Carrington Cardinals to 2 in the Aggies non-league win on Friday.

The Aggies now own a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Renville County West for a non-league test on Saturday, April 12. Velva/Drake/Anamoose will clash with a Jaguars team coming off a 12-1 league loss to Lac qui Parle Valley (Madison, MN). The Jaguars record now stands at 1-3.

With the defeat, Carrington drops to 0-2 on the year. The Cardinals host Dakota Prairie (Petersburg, ND) to clash with the Knights in a non-league test on Monday, April 14. The Knights go into the test with a record of 0-0.
