The crowd at Friday's non-league battle between the East Central Trojans (St. Leon, IN) and the visiting Jennings County Panthers (North Vernon, IN), saw East Central's baseball team gain a win over Jennings County by a tally of 12-7.

The Trojans (3-2) will now prepare for their battle against Batesville (Batesville, IN). The Bulldogs enter the Eastern Indiana battle with a 3-1 record. In their last battle, Batesville was overwhelmed by New Palestine (New Palestine, IN), 10-5, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Panthers face the Washington Hatchets (Washington, IN) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, April 12. Jennings County will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record.
