Escondido Charter Tigers (Escondido, CA) fans left the game pleased Friday as they observed their baseball squad nip the host Foothills Christian Knights (El Cajon, CA), 2-1 in a league match.

With the triumph, Escondido Charter advances its record to 10-1 on the season. The Tigers travel to Army-Navy (Carlsbad, CA) to battle the Warriors in a non-league match on Tuesday, April 22. The Warriors come into the match with a record of 3-9.

The Knights now have a 8-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Calvin Christian for a Pacific match on Tuesday, April 15. Foothills Christian will battle a Crusaders squad coming off a 7-4 league win over Tri-City Christian (Vista, CA). The Crusaders record now stands at 3-1.
