The crowd at Friday's non-league battle between the Rodriguez Mustangs (Fairfield, CA) and the host Fairfield Falcons (Fairfield, CA), saw Rodriguez's baseball team gain a win over Fairfield by a tally of 7-4.

The Mustangs (10-8) will now prepare for their battle against Wood (Vacaville, CA). The Wildcats enter the Monticello Empire League battle with a 8-12 record. In their last battle, Wood by Napa (Napa, CA), 6-1, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Falcons face the Pinole Valley Spartans (Pinole, CA) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, April 15. Fairfield will attempt to upgrade on its 16-6 season record. The Spartans enter the battle with a 5-8 record after their 14-2 league win over Salesian College Preparatory (Richmond, CA).
