Montour Spartans (McKees Rocks, PA) followers left the game satisfied Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Hopewell Vikings (Aliquippa, PA), 10-4 in a non-league match.

With the triumph, Montour moves its record to 4-5 on the season. The Spartans travel to Thomas Jefferson (Jefferson Hills, PA) to confront the Jaguars in a WPIAL 5A 4 match on Monday, April 14. The Jaguars come into the match with a record of 5-3.

The Vikings now possess a 2-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Serra Catholic for a non-league match on Wednesday, April 16.
