April 11, 2025: Marquand, MO 63655 The Marquand-Zion Tigers baseball team scored 4 runs and held the visiting Sullivan Eagles to 3 in the Tigers non-league win on Friday.
The Tigers now own a 6-2 record. They take the field next when they host Kelly for a non-league test on Saturday, April 12. Marquand-Zion will clash with a Hawks team coming off a 5-1 non-league loss to DeSoto (DeSoto, MO). The Hawks record now stands at 2-5.
With the defeat, Sullivan drops to 4-8 on the year. The Eagles travel to Fredericktown (Fredericktown, MO) to clash with the Black Cats in a non-league test on Friday, April 11. The Black Cats go into the test with a record of 5-2. Fredericktown won 9-1 in their recent non-league test against Oak Ridge (Oak Ridge, MO)
