Northwest Rankin Cougars (Brandon, MS) followers left the game satisfied Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Meridian Wildcats (Meridian, MS), 10-0 in a league match.

With the triumph, Northwest Rankin moves its record to 11-12 on the season. The Cougars host Madison Central (Madison, MS) to confront the Jaguars in a non-league match on Saturday, April 12. The Jaguars come into the match with a record of 10-4. Madison Central won 5-2 in their recent league match against Germantown (Madison, MS)

The Wildcats now possess a 7-16 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Neshoba Central for a non-league match on Saturday, April 12. Meridian will confront a Rockets squad coming off a 12-0 league win over Vicksburg (Vicksburg, MS). The Rockets record now stands at 12-9.
