North Carolina High School Soccer - Hickory knocks off West Iredell
April 11, 2025: Statesville, NC 28625 Fans at Friday's league battle between the Hickory Red Tornadoes (Hickory, NC) and the host West Iredell Warriors (Statesville, NC), saw Hickory's soccer squad triumph over West Iredell by a count of 8-0.
The Red Tornadoes (15-1) will now prepare for their battle against Hickory Ridge (Harrisburg, NC). The Ragin' Bulls enter the non-league battle with a 13-0 record. In their last battle, Hickory Ridge notched a victory over West Cabarrus (Concord, NC), 8-0, in a league battle.
Next up, the Warriors battle the Foard Tigers (Newton, NC) in a Western Foothills 3A battle, on Monday, April 14. West Iredell will attempt to upgrade on its 6-7 season record. The Tigers enter the battle with a 6-7 record after their 4-0 league win over North Lincoln (Lincolnton, NC).
