Virginia High School Lacrosse - James Monroe nips Fluvanna County
April 11, 2025: Palmyra, VA 22963 In Friday's non-league challenge, the visiting James Monroe Yellow Jackets lacrosse squad scored a tight 8-7 triumph over the Fluvanna County Flying Flucos.
The Yellow Jackets (4-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Orange County (Orange, VA). The Fighting Hornets go into the non-league challenge with a 1-3 record. In their last challenge, Orange County was nipped by Liberty (Bealeton, VA), 10-9, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Flying Flucos clash with the Albemarle Patriots (Charlottesville, VA) in a Jefferson challenge, on Friday, April 11. Fluvanna County will attempt to better on its 2-3 season record. The Patriots go into the challenge with a 2-1 record after their 11-4 non-league loss to Jefferson Forest (Forest, VA).
