Jefferson County Wild (Shenandoah Junction, WV) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Friday as they saw their lacrosse team top the host Preston Knights (Kingwood, WV), 18-2 in a league battle.

With the victory, Jefferson County advances its record to 3-5 on the season. The Wild travel to Buckhannon-Upshur (Buckhannon, WV) to encounter the Buccaneers in a non-league battle on Saturday, April 12. The Buccaneers come into the battle with a record of 2-3. Buckhannon-Upshur lost 15-4 in their recent non-league battle against George Washington (Charleston, WV)

The Knights now sport a 1-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Buckhannon-Upshur for a non-league battle on Wednesday, April 16. Preston will encounter a Buccaneers team coming off a 11-4 non-league win over Jefferson County (Shenandoah Junction, WV). The Buccaneers record now stands at 3-3.
