Louisiana High School Softball - Sacred Heart sneaks past Acadiana
April 11, 2025: Ville Platte, LA 70586 The Sacred Heart Trojans (Ville Platte, LA) softball nipped the visiting Acadiana Rams (Lafayette, LA), 1-0 in Friday's non-league outing.
The Trojans now sport a 20-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Academy of Our Lady for a non-league outing on Saturday, April 12. Sacred Heart will encounter a Penguins team coming off a 10-9 non-league win over Mandeville (Mandeville, LA). The Penguins record now stands at 7-14.
With the loss, Acadiana moves to 17-12 on the season. The Rams travel to St. Charles Catholic (LaPlace, LA) to encounter the Comets in a non-league outing on Saturday, April 12. The Comets come into the outing with a record of 21-7. St. Charles Catholic won 15-14 in their recent non-league outing against Albany (Albany, LA)
