Arkansas High School Softball - Barton bounces Forrest City
April 11, 2025: Lexa, AR 72355 The Barton Bears softball team scored 17 runs and held the visiting Forrest City Mustangs to 2 in the Bears non-league win on Friday.
The Bears now sport a 4-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to McCrory for a 2A Region 6 battle on Monday, April 14. Barton will confront a Jaguars team coming off a 11-1 league loss to Des Arc (Des Arc, AR). The Jaguars record now stands at 8-6.
With the loss, Forrest City moves to 0-5 on the season. The Mustangs host West Memphis (West Memphis, AR) to confront the Blue Devils in a non-league battle on Monday, April 14. The Blue Devils come into the battle with a record of 2-13. West Memphis lost 17-1 in their recent non-league battle against Cross County (Cherry Valley, AR)
