Arkansas High School Softball - Horatio bounces Mountain Pine
April 11, 2025: Horatio, AR 71842 The Horatio Lions softball team scored 16 runs and held the visiting Mountain Pine Red Devils to 6 in the Lions league win on Friday.
The Lions now possess a 7-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Foreman for a 2A Region 7 battle on Monday, April 14. Horatio will confront a Gator Arkansas team coming off a 13-12 league win over Spring Hill (Hope, AR). The Gator Arkansas record now stands at 8-4.
With the loss, Mountain Pine moves to 0-6 on the season. The Red devils travel to Caddo Hills (Norman, AR) to confront the Indians in a 2A Region 7 battle on Monday, April 14. The Indians come into the battle with a record of 3-5. Caddo Hills lost 10-0 in their recent league battle against Murfreesboro (Murfreesboro, AR)
