Virginia High School Softball - Monticello edges Waynesboro
April 11, 2025: Waynesboro, VA 22980 The Monticello Mustangs softball team scored 2 runs and held the host Waynesboro Little Giants to 0 in the Mustangs non-league win on Friday.
The Mustangs now possess a 7-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Spotswood for a non-league battle on Monday, April 14. Monticello will confront a Trailblazers team coming off a 9-1 league loss to Turner Ashby (Bridgewater, VA). The Trailblazers record now stands at 2-4.
With the loss, Waynesboro moves to 0-6 on the season. The Little giants travel to Staunton (Staunton, VA) to confront the Storm in a Shenandoah battle on Tuesday, April 15. The Storm come into the battle with a record of 0-4. Staunton lost 20-1 in their recent league battle against Stuarts Draft (Stuarts Draft, VA)
