The Somerset Spartans triumphed over the visiting River Falls Wildcats softball squad by a count of 14-2 in Friday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Spartans meet the Grantsburg Pirates (Grantsburg, WI) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, April 12. Somerset will attempt to upgrade on its 5-3 season record. The Pirates enter the challenge with a 2-0 record after their 13-2 league win over Shell Lake (Shell Lake, WI).
