April 11, 2025: Leesburg, AL 35983 Woodland Bobcats (Woodland, AL) supporters left the game thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Sand Rock Wildcats (Leesburg, AL), 6-3 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, Woodland improves its record to 24-7 on the year. The Bobcats travel to Weaver (Weaver, AL) to play the Bearcats in a non-league game on Saturday, April 12. The Bearcats enter the game with a record of 8-8. Weaver lost 11-1 in their recent non-league game against Lincoln (Lincoln, AL)
The Wildcats now hold a 8-16 record. They play next when they travel to Spring Garden for a non-league game on Monday, April 14. Sand Rock will play a Panthers squad coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Sardis (Boaz, AL). The Panthers record now stands at 10-9.
