In Saturday's non-league game, the host Elgin Comets baseball team scored a nice 12-2 win over the Riverdale Falcons.

The Comets (3-3) will now prepare for their game against Cory-Rawson (Rawson, OH). The Fighting Hornets go into the Northwest Central game with a 1-4 record. In their last game, Cory-Rawson was overwhelmed by Arcadia (Arcadia, OH), 13-4, in a non-league game.

Next, the Falcons play the New Riegel Blue Jackets (New Riegel, OH) in a non-league game, on Monday, April 13. Riverdale will attempt to improve on its 1-5 season record. The Blue Jackets go into the game with a 3-2 record after their 7-1 non-league win over McComb (McComb, OH).
