Beecher Bobcats (Beecher, IL) supporters left the game pleased Saturday as they saw their softball squad thwart the host Sterling Golden Warriors (Sterling, IL), 12-1 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Beecher improves its record to 7-0 on the year. The Bobcats travel to Clifton Central (Clifton, IL) to play the Comets in a River Valley game on Tuesday, April 14. The Comets enter the game with a record of 1-9. Clifton Central lost 10-9 in their recent non-league game against Paxton-Buckley-Loda (Paxton, IL)
