Brimfield Indians (Brimfield, IL) backers left the game pleased Saturday as they saw their softball squad nudge the visiting Normal Community Ironmen (Normal, IL), 6-5 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Brimfield upgrades its record to 11-4 on the year. The Indians travel to Knoxville (Knoxville, IL) to play the Blue Bullets in a non-league game on Monday, April 13. The Blue Bullets enter the game with a record of 4-6. Knoxville lost 8-2 in their recent league game against ROWVA/Williamsfield (Oneida, IL)

The Ironmen now own a 4-8 record. They play next when they travel to Mt. Zion for a non-league game on Tuesday, April 14. Normal Community will play a Braves squad coming off a 24-2 league win over Mattoon (Mattoon, IL). The Braves record now stands at 5-5.
