In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting Lehi Pioneers softball team scored a tight 11-9 win over the Maple Mountain Eagles.

The Pioneers (15-2) will now prepare for their match against Emery (Castle Dale, UT). The Spartans come into the non-league match with a 2-10 record. In their last match, Emery by North Sanpete (Mt. Pleasant, UT), 9-6, in a league match.

In their next game, the Eagles confront the Desert Hills Thunder (St. George, UT) in a non-league match, on Saturday, April 11. Maple Mountain will attempt to better on its 12-6 season record. The Thunder come into the match with a 17-2 record after their 22-9 league win over Snow Canyon (St. George, UT).
