Connecticut High School Softball - McMahon sneaks past Torrington
April 11, 2026: Torrington, CT 06790 The McMahon Senators softball team scored 21 runs and held the host Torrington Raiders to 20 in the Senators non-league win on Saturday.
The Senators now possess a 2-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Stamford for a Fairfield County battle on Friday, April 17. McMahon will confront a Black Knights team coming off a 5-0 non-league win over West Haven (West Haven, CT). The Black Knights record now stands at 4-3.
With the loss, Torrington moves to 2-2 on the season. The Raiders travel to St. Paul Catholic (Bristol, CT) to confront the Falcons in a Naugatuck Valley - Brass battle on Monday, April 13. The Falcons come into the battle with a record of 4-0. St. Paul Catholic won 15-0 in their recent league battle against Oxford (Oxford, CT)
