The Nicholas County Grizzlies softball squad (Summersville, WV), was routed 13-10 in Saturday's non-league contest with the visiting Ripley Vikings (Ripley, WV)

With the triumph, Ripley improves its record to 4-9 on the year. The Vikings travel to Southern (Racine, OH) to face the Tornadoes in a non-league contest on Monday, April 13. The Tornadoes enter the contest with a record of 7-1. Southern won 14-4 in their recent non-league contest against Gallia Academy (Gallipolis, OH)

The Grizzlies now hold a 4-8 record. They play next when they host Princeton for a non-league contest on Monday, April 13. Nicholas County will face a Tigers squad coming off a 17-1 non-league loss to Mingo Central (Matewan, WV). The Tigers record now stands at 4-11.
