The Northwest Jaguars overwhelmed the visiting Poolesville Falcons softball squad by a count of 11-1 in Saturday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Jaguars meet the Clarksburg Coyotes (Clarksburg, MD) in a Montgomery County 4A - West challenge, on Monday, April 13. Northwest will attempt to upgrade on its 8-0 season record. The Coyotes go into the challenge with a 5-2 record after their 9-2 non-league loss to Damascus (Damascus, MD).

The Falcons (3-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Watkins Mill (Gaithersburg, MD). The Wolverines go into the Montgomery County 3A/2A challenge with a 0-7 record. In their last challenge, Watkins Mill was routed by Seneca Valley (Germantown, MD), 29-8, in a non-league challenge.
