The Ray Bearcats routed the visiting Willcox Cowboys softball squad by a final score of 11-0 in Friday's non-league battle.

The Bearcats (13-8) will now prepare for their battle against Superior (Superior, AZ). The Panthers go into the 1A East battle with a 10-3 record. In their last battle, Superior notched a victory over Fort Thomas (Fort Thomas, AZ), 14-4, in a league battle.

The Cowboys now possess a 4-11 record. They play next when they host Bisbee for a 2A East battle on Tuesday, April 16. Willcox will meet a Pumas squad coming off a 29-28 league loss to Tombstone (Tombstone, AZ). The Pumas record now stands at 6-13.
