The Perry Commodores (Lima, OH) baseball nipped the host Elgin Comets (Marion, OH), 8-7 in Monday's league contest.

Coming up next, the Commodores encounter the Riverside Pirates (De Graff, OH) in a Northwest Central contest, on Tuesday, April 13. Perry will attempt to better on its 5-2 season record. The Pirates come into the contest with a 5-4 record after their 10-5 league win over Lehman Catholic (Sidney, OH).
