April 12, 2021: Phoenix, AZ 85027 The Thunderbird Chiefs volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Goldwater Bulldogs to 1 in the Chiefs non-league victory on Monday.
The Chiefs now have a 3-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host St. Mary's for a 4A Southwest game on Tuesday, April 13.
The Bulldogs (2-5) will now prepare for their game against Notre Dame Prep (Scottsdale, AZ). The Saints enter the 4A West Valley game with a 0-7 record. In their last game, Notre Dame Prep dropped by Cactus (Glendale, AZ), 3-0, in a league game.
