Altamont Knights (Birmingham, AL) supporters were pleased Monday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the host Ramsay Rams (Birmingham, AL), 9-3 in a league challenge.
Next, the Knights confront the Homewood Patriots (Homewood, AL) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, April 13. Altamont will attempt to move on its 5-8 season record. The Patriots enter the challenge with a 10-2 record after their 0-0 non-league Thompson (Alabaster, AL).
The Rams now possess a 3-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to John Carroll Catholic for a 4A-5A Area 8 challenge on Tuesday, April 13. Ramsay will confront a Cavaliers team coming off a 10-0 league win over Parker (Birmingham, AL). The Cavaliers record now stands at 14-3.
