Indiana High School Softball - Brownstown Central nudges West Washington
April 12, 2021: Campbellsburg, IN 47108 Brownstown Central Braves (Brownstown, IN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the host West Washington Senators (Campbellsburg, IN), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.
The Braves now own a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Austin for a Mid-Southern challenge on Thursday, April 15. Brownstown Central will battle a Eagles squad coming off a 18-1 league loss to Scottsburg (Scottsburg, IN). The Eagles record now stands at 3-4.
With the loss, West Washington falls to 5-4 on the campaign. The Senators travel to Springs Valley (French Lick, IN) to battle the Blackhawks in a Patoka Lake challenge on Thursday, April 15. The Blackhawks enter the challenge with a record of 3-3. Springs Valley lost 8-5 in their recent non-league challenge against Northeast Dubois (Dubois, IN)
