Placer Hillmen (Auburn, CA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Sunnyside Wildcats (Fresno, CA), 12-2 in a non-league test.

With the win, Placer upgrades its record to 11-8 on the season. The Hillmen travel to Crater (Central Point, OR) to battle the Comets in a non-league test on Wednesday, April 13. The Comets come into the test with a record of 0-1.

With the defeat, Sunnyside falls to 2-17 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Oakmont (Roseville, CA) to battle the Vikings in a non-league test on Tuesday, April 12. The Vikings come into the test with a record of 11-5. Oakmont won 14-2 in their recent non-league test against Reedley (Reedley, CA)
