In Tuesday's non-league contest, the Benet Academy Redwings (Lisle, IL) softball team held off the visiting Metea Valley Mustangs (Aurora, IL), by a margin of 10-9.

With the triumph, Benet Academy moves its record to 4-0 on the year. The Redwings travel to Carmel (Mundelein, IL) to play the Corsairs in a East Suburban Catholic contest on Monday, April 18. The Corsairs come into the contest with a record of 2-6.

In their next game, the Mustangs play the Wheaton North Falcons (Wheaton, IL) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, April 13. Metea Valley will attempt to move on its 2-5 season record. The Falcons come into the contest with a 3-1 record after their 11-0 non-league win over Addison Trail (Addison, IL).
