In Tuesday's non-league contest, the Independence Blue Devils (Independence, OH) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Perry Panthers (Massillon, OH), by a margin of 11-4.

With the triumph, Independence moves its record to 4-0 on the year. The Blue Devils host Cuyahoga Heights (Cleveland, OH) to play the Heights in a Chagrin Valley - Metro contest on Wednesday, April 13. The Heights come into the contest with a record of 2-1. Cuyahoga Heights lost 12-0 in their recent non-league contest against Norwayne (Creston, OH)
