The Cathedral Fighting Irish baseball team (Indianapolis, IN), was tipped 6-5 in Wednesday's non-league outing with the host Westfield Shamrocks (Westfield, IN)

The Shamrocks now hold a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Brownsburg for a Hoosier Crossroads outing on Thursday, April 13. Westfield will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 7-3 non-league win over University (Carmel, IN). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-2.

Next, the Fighting Irish confront the Homestead Spartans (Fort Wayne, IN) in a non-league outing, on Saturday, April 15. Cathedral will attempt to advance on its 4-2 season record. The Spartans go into the outing with a 4-3 record after their 9-8 non-league win over Bellmont (Decatur, IN).
