Central Kitsap Cougars (Silverdale, WA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host River Ridge Hawks (Lacey, WA), 5-1 in a league test.

With the win, Central Kitsap upgrades its record to 7-4 on the season. The Cougars host Timberline (Lacey, WA) to battle the Blazers in a 3A South Sound test on Tuesday, April 18. The Blazers come into the test with a record of 3-3. Timberline won 6-1 in their recent non-league test against Gig Harbor (Gig Harbor, WA)

With the defeat, River Ridge falls to 2-5 on the season. The Hawks host Peninsula (Gig Harbor, WA) to battle the Seahawks in a 3A South Sound test on Tuesday, April 18. The Seahawks come into the test with a record of 7-5.
