Illinois High School Baseball - Chicago Hope Academy loses to Lincoln-Way East
April 12, 2023: Frankfort, IL 60423 The Lincoln-Way East Griffins crushed the visiting Chicago Hope Academy baseball team by a tally of 14-3 in Wednesday's non-league bout.
The Griffins now hold a 11-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Andrew for a Southwest Suburban - Blue bout on Thursday, April 13. Lincoln-Way East will face a Thunderbolts team coming off a 14-13 league loss to Homewood-Flossmoor (Flossmoor, IL). The Thunderbolts record now stands at 6-3.
Next, the face the Whitney Young Dolphins (Chicago, IL) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, April 13. Chicago Hope Academy will attempt to advance on its 10-3 season record. The Dolphins enter the bout with a 3-8 record after their 22-12 league win over Amundsen (Chicago, IL).
