Georgia High School Baseball - Veterans holds off Tift County
April 12, 2023: Kathleen, GA 31047 Veterans Warhawks (Kathleen, GA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Tift County Blue Devils (Tifton, GA), 4-0 in a league test.
With the win, Veterans upgrades its record to 12-14 on the season. The Warhawks travel to Sandy Creek (Tyrone, GA) to battle the Patriots in a non-league test on Tuesday, April 18. The Patriots come into the test with a record of 13-9. Sandy Creek won 19-0 in their recent league test against Douglass (Atlanta, GA)
With the defeat, Tift County falls to 22-6 on the season. The Blue devils host Irwin County (Ocilla, GA) to battle the Indians in a non-league test on Wednesday, April 19. The Indians come into the test with a record of 21-4.
