April 12, 2023: Newtonville, MA 02460 The Newton North Tigers volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Milford Hawks to 1 in the Tigers non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Tigers now have a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Weymouth for a Bay State game on Thursday, April 13. Newton North will meet a Wildcats team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Needham (Needham, MA). The Wildcats record now stands at 0-3.
The Hawks (3-3) will now prepare for their game against Cambridge Rindge & Latin (Cambridge, MA). The Falcons enter the non-league game with a 1-2 record. In their last game, Cambridge Rindge & Latin dropped by O'Bryant (Roxbury, MA), 3-2, in a non-league game.
