April 12, 2023: Herndon, VA 20171 The crowd at Wednesday's non-league test between the Wakefield Fighting Owls (The Plains, VA) and the host King Abdullah Academy Falcons (Herndon, VA), saw Wakefield's soccer squad knock off King Abdullah Academy by a margin of 4-1.
The Fighting Owls now sport a 5-0 record. They play next when they host Tandem Friends for a Greater Piedmont test on Friday, April 14. Wakefield will encounter a Badgers squad coming off a 1-0 league loss to Foxcroft (Middleburg, VA). The Badgers record now stands at 2-5.
With the loss, King Abdullah Academy drops to 0-10 on the season. The Falcons travel to Immanuel Christian (Springfield, VA) to encounter the Warriors in a test on Thursday, April 13. The Warriors come into the test with a record of 1-3. Immanuel Christian lost 2-1 in their recent league test against Chelsea Academy (Front Royal, VA)
