April 12, 2023: New Lenox, IL 60451 The Providence Catholic Celtics soccer team (New Lenox, IL), was overwhelmed 9-0 in Wednesday's non-league contest with the visiting Oswego Panthers (Oswego, IL)
Next, the Panthers face the Plainfield East Bengals (Plainfield, IL) in a Suburban Prairie contest, on Thursday, April 13. Oswego will attempt to better on its 6-3 season record. The Bengals enter the contest with a 7-2 record after their 4-0 non-league loss to Benet Academy (Lisle, IL).
The Celtics now have a 4-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Rosary for a non-league contest on Tuesday, April 18. Providence Catholic will face a Royals team coming off a 5-2 league loss to St. Francis (Wheaton, IL). The Royals record now stands at 2-5.
