Illinois High School Softball - Warren Township topped by Antioch
April 12, 2023: Antioch, IL 60002 In Wednesday's non-league contest, the Antioch Sequoits (Antioch, IL) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Warren Township Blue Devils (Gurnee, IL), by a margin of 11-1.
With the triumph, Antioch moves its record to 10-0 on the year. The Sequoits travel to Grayslake North (Grayslake, IL) to play the Knights in a Northern Lake County contest on Thursday, April 13. The Knights come into the contest with a record of 2-8.
In their next game, the Blue Devils play the Marengo Indians (Marengo, IL) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, April 15. Warren Township will attempt to move on its 4-3 season record. The Indians come into the contest with a 9-1 record after their 10-4 league win over Richmond-Burton (Richmond, IL).
