April 12, 2023: Sykesville, MD 21784 The Liberty Lions softball team (Sykesville, MD), was routed 13-3 in Wednesday's non-league test with the visiting Catoctin Cougars (Thurmont, MD)
Coming up next, the Cougars clash with the Middletown Knights (Middletown, MD) in a CMC test, on Friday, April 14. Catoctin will attempt to improve on its 5-1 season record. The Knights come into the test with a 4-6 record after their 8-0 league loss to Linganore (Frederick, MD).
The Lions (7-3) will now prepare for their test against Westminster (Westminster, MD). The Owls come into the Monocacy Valley - Chesapeake test with a 4-1 record. In their last test, Westminster overcame Aberdeen (Aberdeen, MD), 14-4, in a non-league test.
