Washington High School Softball - Mt. Baker holds off Lynden Christian
April 12, 2023: Deming, WA 98244 The Mt. Baker Mountaineers the visiting Lynden Christian Lyncs softball squad by a count of 8-6 in Wednesday's league battle.
The Mountaineers (4-2) will now prepare for their battle against Meridian (Bellingham, WA). The Trojans go into the 1A/2A/3A Northwest battle with a 7-1 record. In their last battle, Meridian nudged South Whidbey (Langley, WA), 20-0, in a non-league battle.
The Lyncs now sport a 0-3 record. They play next when they host Blaine for a 1A/2A/3A Northwest battle on Friday, April 14. Lynden Christian will meet a Borderites squad coming off a 10-6 league win over Nooksack Valley (Everson, WA). The Borderites record now stands at 3-0.
