April 12, 2023: Wayne, WV 25570 Spectators at Wednesday's league match between the Winfield Generals (Winfield, WV) and the host Wayne Pioneers (Wayne, WV), witnessed Winfield's softball squad prevail over Wayne by a count of 14-1.
The Generals now sport a 9-2 record. They play next when they travel to Hoover for a Cardinal match on Thursday, April 13. Winfield will meet a Huskies squad coming off a 16-0 league win over Nitro (Nitro, WV). The Huskies record now stands at 9-5.
