April 12, 2024: Bear Creek, NC 27207 The Chatham Central Bears got by the visiting Trinity Bulldogs baseball team by a count of 9-8 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Bears now possess a 10-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Northwood for a Mid-Carolina 1A/2A bout on Tuesday, April 16. Chatham Central will face a Chargers team coming off a 9-0 non-league loss to Pinecrest (Southern Pines, NC). The Chargers record now stands at 6-8.
Next, the Bulldogs face the Randleman Tigers (Randleman, NC) in a Piedmont Athletic 1A/2A bout, on Tuesday, April 16. Trinity will attempt to move on its 7-12 season record. The Tigers enter the bout with a 15-2 record after their 8-2 league win over Providence Grove (Franklinville, NC).
