Virginia High School Baseball - Denbigh loses to Gloucester
April 12, 2024: Newport News, VA 23608 The Gloucester Dukes baseball team scored 24 runs and limited the host Denbigh Patriots to 2 in the Dukes league victory on Friday.
The Dukes (10-0) will now prepare for their match against Menchville (Newport News, VA). The Monarchs go into the Peninsula match with a 7-2 record. In their last match, Menchville was overwhelmed by Kecoughtan (Hampton, VA), 6-5, in a league match.
The Patriots (6-3) will now prepare for their match against Woodside (Newport News, VA). The Wolverines go into the Peninsula match with a 3-4 record. In their last match, Woodside gained a win over Heritage (Newport News, VA), 22-2, in a league match.
